These terms govern your use of www.movewyse.com (the "Platform"), operated by Movewyse Ltd ("MoveWyse", "we", "us"), company number 17313328, registered at 3 Upper Gulland Walk, London, England, N1 2PF. By creating an account or using the Platform you agree to them.
MoveWyse is a technology platform that connects customers with independent transport providers ("drivers"). We are not a transport, removals or delivery company, we do not carry out the work, and we are not a party to, agent for, or guarantor of any agreement between a customer and a driver. Drivers are self-employed and independent; they are not our employees, workers or agents. The contract for the transport job is solely between the customer and the driver, on terms they agree between themselves.
You must be 18 or over and able to enter into a contract. By using the Platform as a customer you confirm you meet this requirement; we may not independently verify your age. Keep your login secure and your information accurate. You are responsible for activity on your account.
A customer posts a job. Drivers see the job and submit a bid for the amount they wish to receive. The price shown to the customer reflects that bid plus MoveWyse's commission; drivers do not see the customer-facing price, your budget, or our commission. We may apply minimum bid rules so that bids stay realistic for the job posted. The customer chooses a driver and pays MoveWyse a deposit to secure the job. Paying the deposit unlocks the driver's contact details and the chat. The customer and driver then carry out the job and the customer pays the driver's fee directly to the driver; MoveWyse is not involved in that payment and never collects, holds or forwards it.
The deposit is a percentage of the driver's bid, shown to you before you pay. The applicable percentage may vary between jobs, including where we apply a per-job or per-driver adjustment or a promotional discount, and will always be shown to you before payment is taken. We may also apply a minimum deposit amount on lower-value jobs, so the deposit charged may be higher than the percentage alone would produce; if so, this will also be shown to you before you pay. The deposit is payable to MoveWyse for the service of securing the job and unlocking contact. The driver's fee is separate, agreed between you and the driver, and never passes through MoveWyse. When the deposit is and is not refundable is set out in our Refund and Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Messages between customers and drivers must be sent through the Platform. Before a deposit is paid, we use automated tools to detect and block attempts to share phone numbers, email addresses, or other off-platform contact details in job descriptions, bid messages, or chat, to keep the marketplace functioning and both parties protected. Once the deposit is paid, each party's contact details are shared with the other and you are responsible for how you use them.
We carry out checks on drivers before they can bid, including identity and document checks and a review of uploaded insurance documents (some of which may use automated tools to assist a human review; no driver is approved without a human decision). Ratings, "Verified" badges, tier badges (Bronze, Silver, Gold) and any trust score shown on the Platform are indicators based on our review process and platform activity. They are not a guarantee of a driver's qualifications, conduct, insurance validity, or fitness for a particular job. You are encouraged to satisfy yourself of anything important to you before relying on a driver for valuable or sensitive items.
Drivers are required to hold valid insurance, including goods-in-transit cover, and to keep it current. MoveWyse does not provide insurance, and we do not compensate you for loss or damage to your goods. If something is lost or damaged during a job, that is a matter between you and the driver, including, where relevant, a claim against the driver's own insurance. We recommend photographing the condition of valuable or fragile items before they are handed over, so there is a clear record if anything is later disputed.
Provide accurate job information. Treat other users lawfully and respectfully (see our Acceptable Use Policy). Do not use the Platform to arrange anything unlawful, and do not attempt to circumvent the deposit by arranging an introduced job off-platform.
You must not post a job for, or otherwise use the Platform to arrange the transport of: anything illegal; hazardous, flammable or explosive materials; firearms or weapons; live animals; cash, bullion, or negotiable financial instruments; human remains; or anything that requires a licence or permit that neither you nor the driver holds. We may remove a job, refuse to allow a job to proceed, or suspend an account that breaches this.
A driver's bid is based on the job as you described it. If, on the day, the job turns out to be materially different (for example, more items, restricted access, or something that needed disclosing and wasn't), the driver may decline to proceed or may agree a different price directly with you. That is a matter between you and the driver; MoveWyse does not adjust or refund the deposit because the job changed on the day, except as set out in our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
You may post reviews and content. They must be honest, lawful and your own. Reviews may be held back from public view for a short period after a job before being shown. You grant us a licence to host and display content you submit for the purpose of operating the Platform. We may remove content that breaches these terms.
We provide the Platform with reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for the transport service itself, the conduct of drivers or customers, the quality, safety, timing or legality of any job, or any loss, damage or dispute arising from a job. These are matters between the customer and the driver. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited (including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud). Subject to that, our total liability to you in connection with the Platform is limited to the deposit you paid on the relevant job. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
If something goes wrong, whether it's a job issue, a cancellation, a refund question, or a complaint about another user, raise it through our Help Centre by submitting a ticket (available from your account workspace), where you can also attach up to five photos to support your case. We are not the arbiter of disputes about a job itself, but we review every ticket and may act on it, including by suspending an account. Complaints about how we have handled your personal data are dealt with under our Privacy Policy.
When you create an account, we record that you accepted these terms (and, if you are a driver, the Transport Provider Agreement), along with the version and the date and time. This lets us, and you, confirm exactly what you agreed to.
Accounts may be active, pending, suspended or banned. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, attempts to circumvent the deposit, or otherwise misuses the Platform, and we keep a record of the reason for any such action. A suspended or banned driver cannot be awarded new jobs.
A job's tracking link or ID can be used to look up basic job information. Treat it like you would any private reference number and do not share it publicly.
Our administrative team can view account, job and verification information, including uploaded documents, where needed to operate, secure and moderate the Platform, including reviewing reports and verification submissions. See our Privacy Policy for more detail.
The Platform, its branding and content (excluding user content) belong to MoveWyse or our licensors.
Neither party is responsible for delay or failure caused by something genuinely beyond their reasonable control. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. If we don't act on a breach immediately, that doesn't mean we've waived our right to act on it later. We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms, for example if MoveWyse is sold or restructured; you may not transfer yours without our agreement. These terms don't give any right to a person who isn't a party to them. We'll send notices to the email address on your account, and you can reach us at the contact details below.
We may update these terms and will post changes here. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction (this does not remove protections available to you under the law of your home nation of the UK).
